Google Pixel 2

Today we are going to be talking about the newest phone in the Pixel series, the Google Pixel 2. First, we will be talking about its design. From the back of the phone, it looks quite nice with an aluminium back. The aluminium on the back isn't shiny which I prefer because a shiny back leads to loads of fingerprints which makes the phone look less beautiful. On the back, there is also the piece of glass covering the camera and the flash just like last year from the Pixel. This is said to improve connectivity to Wi-Fi and calls. The front side of the phone, in my opinion, isn't as good-looking as the back for 2017. The Google Pixel 2 still contains the big bezels on the top and bottom of the screen which is surprising. The 2 main phones Google is competing against is Apple and Samsung and both of those companies are turning to bezel-less displays. Other than that the overall display of the phone is good.

The biggest feature Google is Advertising about this phone is its camera. It is said to be the best camera in any smartphone this year just like last year. It has a 12-megapixel f/1.8 lens to be exact which doesn't sound that good and the same as other flagship phones but is the way Google uses it to give users very good quality photos. People say the reason why it is better than the iPhone 8 and S8 because the photos on the Pixel 2 don't look as saturated and more life like. With the camera, they have also added the same feature as with the S8 where you can simply scan an object and it will give you the top results of what you scanned on google. The Google Pixel 2 also has IP67 water resistant which is expected of a flagship phone and also a thumbprint scanner. This phone has also taken the route of no return, the route of the no headphone jack :(. The Pixel 2 has a Snapdragon 835 and 4GB ram. It is running the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. Who else loves the names of the android systems? Anyways to sum up this paragraph here is a key feature table of the Pixel 2.
